Open The Box

OK. So I have been thinking all week about our Sunday night lesson. You know the one about how we have recieved this great treasure or inheritance and we take it home and put it on the nightstand and just look at it because we are afraid to open it up.  Well all week I have been wondering what if I just dive on into the dang thing! I mean stop opening up and pulling out only what I pick and chose. God has an amazing life planned out for us (Jerm. 29:11) and we just leave all of our tools on the nightstand in the box. Guys I have decided that I want to jump over into my inheritance box and let God equip me with all that He has set before me. Will it always be easy? Will the road always be smooth with no troubles or problems? NO WAY!  Am I gonna have to give up a few things in order to be smack dab in the center of His will? You better believe it! Will I gain from all that I have to give up? Absolutley.

I challenge you this week and in the coming weeks....go on get over in the box! The reward is great!!!!!
Until next time~

WONDERFUL SAVIOUR

Can I tell you that I stand in awe of a magnificent Saviour that knows me by name! Guys what in the world would we do without Him? I don't want to imagine one breath apart from Him. I want to be in the grasp of His very Spirit at all times. He has proven himself over and over to me. Here I am a child so unworthy of even speaking His name and He continues to show up and show off HUGE in my life. The relationship that I have with Him allows the standard for the relationships that I have with you, my children, my husband, my family. WOW! That is mind boggling to me~ All I can say in this moment is THANK YOU FATHER! Worthy is the Lamb!!!!!!

We are the temple of God~

“But everything that was a gain to me, I have considered to be a loss because of Christ. More than that, I also consider everything to be a loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. Because of Him I have suffered the loss of all things and consider them filth, so that I may gain Christ and be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own from the law, but one that is through faith in Christ—the righteousness from God based on faith. My goal is to know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, assuming that I will somehow reach the resurrection from among the dead.

-Philippians 3: 7-11

What another wonderful Sunday night service! I am so excited to get all the great feedback on this study. We are learning that our bodies are a temple for God's house. God will not live in a dirty house! Isn't it wonderful to know that when we confess our sins before God that we can be made pure again?

That teenager that had given their bodies before marriage and defiled themselves can come clean and pure before God through confession of their sin. He cast it out as far as the east is to the west! WHEW! That is just good stuff~ The lies that we have told or lived in, the abuse that we have put our bodies through, can all be confessed so that we can come to God spotless. Think about that this week. What is making your house dirty? Is it gossip, the computer, the cell phone, the tv, sex, drugs, drinking, lying. It could be a boyfriend/girlfriend, a job, a friend. Commit to not letting anything dirty up your house. Remember God will not leave where ther is ANY dirt. No matter how small we think it to be.

Have a great Tuesday! God Bless :]
